[...] I tested the Vasque blur trail runners on the local trails here along the Wasatch. Luckily, I’ve got several options right in my backyard, so I pounded out a few miles on the Bonneville Shoreline Trail and even hit a couple of miles on jogging stroller duty as I pushed my daughter around in our BOB Revolution.
I just got the following email from my sister in Seattle, who is a firm believer in her BOB Revolution:
<blockquote>
I just wanted to tell you my BOB story to let you know what a great stroller and worth every penny it is.

We were on our way out the front door to school this morning. Timothy was buckled into the stroller and Emilee was pushing him out while I held the door open. Just then, she got distracted by the other kids who walk with us and she let go of the stroller. Normally this wouldn't be a big deal because there is a trim piece between the deck and the stairs. She had gotten it past that trim piece when she let go. When I looked up, the stroller was rolling down the front steps. It stayed upright until the bottom, where it tipped on its side.

After a blood-curdling scream, I ran down the steps not knowing what I would find. Timothy was scared, but with only a small red raspberry on his forehead. The 5-point buckles had held him tight. We still had the car seat bar on the front, and it had taken the brunt of the impact of the fall. I know that any other stroller would have tumbled instead of rolled down those steps. It is truly thanks to guardian angels and that good stroller that Timothy is totally fine.

I haven't used a BOB stroller, but I agree -- being able to lock the front wheel is soooo useful for ANY jogging stroller you consider.
