When it comes to taking care of the family for camping outings, Kelty has it dialed. Here’s how my family got out camping this summer with gear from Kelty. Overall, in recent year’s Kelty has made big improvements to their family camping line and in my opinion they have hit their stride! Based on the product line and features available, you can tell they’ve done their research and know their market. When it comes to camping with the family, this past summer Kelty won me over and I’m a definite fan! Kelty Granby 6 Car Camping Tent With 4 kids going with a smaller tent is not an option! The Kelty Granby 6 Car Camping Tent has more than enough room for all 6 of us. My kids are small now but we’ll still fit as they get bigger. Construction is solid, lots of great small features, and easy set up set the Granby apart. A nice roomy vestibule is almost full height and a big door is easy to get in and out of. There’s enough room for all of us to huddle when getting out of the rain without getting any rain inside. The vestibule also features a handful of pockets for organization. A couple of windows help you keep track of the weather and zip panels help increase ventilation. Once inside you’re in one big room.
