Lack of need for a separate lining allows fabric to be light and compact; combines durable wind- and waterproofness with exceptional breathability. Extra durable Gore-Tex(R) Pro Shell 3-layer laminate fabric in the shoulders and underarm gussets is tough, extremely breathable and durably waterproof and windproof. Tiny seam tape reduces bulk and weight. Helmet-compatible storm hood with drawcord adjustments; laminated chin guard resists abrasion. Water-resistant external zippers; molded zipper garages shield zipper heads. Pit zippers ensure easy venting; corded zipper pulls reduce noise and are easy to grab. Laminated die-cut rip-and-stick cuff adjusters reduce bulk and won't catch or tear off. Laminated dropped back hem with drawcord adjustment. 2 high crossover hand pockets with water-resistant zippers are easy to get to with a pack on.
