New spindle is manufactured to pass European standards of quality and safety; you'll never need to worry about breaking the spindle. New spring design alleviates wing rattle, spring migration and breakage from fatigue. Watertight and airtight internal parts promote a long life and require little maintenance. Egg Beater 2 pedals feature a cast stainless-steel body and stamped steel wings. 6deg of soft float. Pedals should only be used with the Egg Beater Cleats (included) which will fit almost any SPD-compatible shoe.
