Eastern Mountain Sports Description: This functional Deuter KangaKid carrier quickly transforms from backpack to a child carrier. Just like a traditional daypack, this pack offers plenty of storage and pockets. Expandable child seat is neatly hidden in its separate compartment, accessible by the pull of a zipper. Padded child seat offers an adjustable safety harness to accommodate children who can sit up by themselves. Child seat integrated with five-point harness system and central tensioning system for added security. Back panel offers comfortable airflow by incorporating mesh-lined foam strips. Stabilizer straps on shoulder straps provide additional comfort with or without a child in the carrier. Shoulder straps are contoured, padded, and lined with 3D air-mesh fabric for breathability and comfort. Sturdy yet soft hip pads usually found on camping backpacks offer greater stability and lateral control. Offers a spacious main compartment, side mesh pockets, front stash pocket and front stuff-it pocket. Pack maintains structure and support through two aluminum stays, one in adult portion and one in child seat.
