Eastern Mountain Sports Description: A brilliant sport climbing biner, the DMM Aero Bent-Gate carabiner is beefy enough to survive multiple dogging sessions and clips beautifully. A good size for all-round use. High quality, hot-forged solid gate carabiner with a strong 9 kN gate open strength for extra safety. Wide 26mm gate opening so that even clipping thick webbing is easy. Keylock nose to make clipping and unclipping even easier. Features a shrouded nose to protect the gate from accidentally opening and a rope groove to help direct any loads against the spine. The gate/nose intersection has been carefully designed so that the chances of the rope unclipping itself are minimized. Gate contains a deep bend that rolls into the nose to make clipping very easy. A relatively strong spring pressure to reduce the chances of gate flutter and also to reduce the chances of the rope unclipping itself when backclipped. Completely anodized to help combat corrosion and prolong life in hot, damp or salty environments. Rope bearing surface width: 9.4mm. Designed and manufactured in North Wales, UK.
