Bigger than a micro nut, they bridge the gap between larger pieces and have a flat shape to adhere to tight situations. Anodized aluminum alloy for the right mix of strength, durability, and hold. Colors coincide with corresponding Wallnuts or Wild Country Rocks for ease of recognition. Hot-forged and CNC-machined for precision. Follow all manufacturers instructions; strength depends on proper placement, rock strength, and direction of fall.Backcountry Description: Protect your next super-thin crack climb with DMM Peenuts. These tiny nuts are color coded for easy selection, and their tapered heads help them fit securely in slightly flaring cracks. DMM Peenuts
These are the most useful little-dudes I've ever had on my rack. I primarily climb Southern sandstone and they are indispensable on the classic run-out traditional face routes! They fit in the tiniest of placements and the slightly offset nature of the nut often allows them to get maximum contact in places where a traditional nut won't even pretend to go! I recommend these little boogers to anyone!
