Product Descriptions
Backcountry Description: Nobody's ever accused you of being a hothead, and they're not going to start now, not when you're wearing the Giro Seam Helmet. Twelve Super-Cool vents that can be adjusted from a single Thermostat control keep things from getting uncomfortably hot and sweaty under the Seam's polycarbonate shell, even on warm days. Add to that Giro's fine-tuned Super Fit engineering, not to mention its top-flight impact protection, and you have just run out of excuses to not wear a helmet.

The House Description: Innovative Stack Ventilation combines with our Thermostat Control vent system to disperse excess heat for superior comfort in a variety of conditions and on-hill scenarios. Add to that the best fit ever engineered and it becomes clear that The Seam is the perfect weapon for an all-mountain onslaught.Key Features of the Giro Seam Snowboard Helmet: In-Mold Construction In Form Fit System Vertical Tuning Super Cool Vents with Thermostat Control Stack Ventilation X-Static Anti-Bacterial Padding Compatible with All Aftermarket and Giro Audio Systems Seamless Compatibility with All Giro Goggles Compliance: ASTM F2040-11 / CE EN1077

Altrec Description: Keep your head comfy and safe in the Giro Seam Helmet while you tear it up all over the mountain. "Adjustable does not even begin to describe this snow helmet. It has 12 Super Cool vents for plenty of airflow with a slider on top of the helmet to open and close them as conditions change; they go from fully open, to partially open, to fully closed. The padded chin strap adjusts, and the tightness of the helmet changes as your turn the wheel at the back of the head. If you need to change the height of the helmet, take it off and unsnap the back pad, snap it in to a higher or lower position depending on how you want it to ride on your head -- this should help it fit better with your goggles, eliminating the dreaded gaper gap, and preventing nose pinch. The padding is machine washable and contains X-Static anti bacterial silver fibers to keep your Giro helmet fresh, and the ear pads are compatible with their TuneUps system (sold separately). Whether you're bombing the groomers on your skis, or floating through the trees on your snowboard, the Giro Seam Helmet offers plenty of protection in a comfy, ultra stylish package.

Giro Seam Helmet

After owning a few snow helmets i've found the Giro's best of all. My last one was a MX G10 Which i really liked the MX style but a pain when lifting goggles up because of the peak. The seam combats this problem with having just enough of a peak to do it's job and be stylish. All the other features comfort/ adjustability second to none which i would only expect from one of these lids. 5 star from me!

Great Lid

Key Features: Comfortable fit, Stack Vent is great for the goggles, and the Thermostat control is easier to use than previous versions.
