Product Descriptions
REI Description: Designed for park, pipe and big-mountain freeskiers, the Marker Jester B130 downhill ski bindings meet the demands of the most aggressive downhillers around. Featuring updated magnesium parts to increase durability and control in 2012/2013, the Jester bindings enhance control of wide-waisted skis. Burly DIN settings from 6 - 16 lets hard-charging skiers stomp huge landings and hit mach speeds. Level stand height creates a neutral stance with a consistent balance point, ideal for pulling off tricks either forward or backward. Cross-axis toe spring and compact mounting create a short binding that enables fluid spins and twists. Triple Pivot Elite toe absorbs high levels of energy to help prevent prerelease, and an updated horizontal torsion bar reinforcement enhances power and lateral precision. Lightweight Inter-Pivot heel focuses power in the direction of the boot sole and offers superior holding power and energy transfer. Freeride brakes ensure adequate clearance when skiing backward. Heel is designed without pull-out screws to maximize durability. Contact points located directly under the sole holder efficiently transfer power to the ski. Stainless-steel anti-friction device allows essential lateral boot movement despite the condition of dirty or worn soles or negative sliding friction. Anti-friction device adjusts to the height of alpine boots. 130mm brake fits most powder skis. Mounting configuration of Marker Jester B130 downhill ski binding requires a 78mm minimum ski width.

Backcountry Description: When you're on-point and clicked into the Marker Jester Ski Bindings, you don't need to worry about pre-releases and slide-for-life situations in the middle of an intense run. The new toe, toe base plate, and heel design mean these bomber bindings won't add unwanted rigidity to your ski or cause release before you have a chance to recover. The Jester handles your biggest cliff hucks and tabletops, and its wide but short design takes up less of your ski's length, which means your ski flexes naturally as you spin off the lip of the pipe or rip a huge turn below a 30-footer.

Plastic piece of S@&t! Nothing about this binding is reasurring. Between the mounting screws and your ski is just plastic. Mushy soft plastic. Nothing reinforces these for bigger skis. My toe pieces are wobbling after 20 days on groomers. Ive removed them to find a stress crack in the plastic under a mounting screw. There is not one good thing I can say! The heel piece shows wear... the toe pieces are loose... the paint has all fallen off the metal- BUY FKS or Pivot!! These are toys being sold as quality dependant on the Marker name. A rearward twisting fall will result in a blown knee. They have failed function testing. Dont be fooled... the name is very accurate Jester. JUNK!!
