REI Description: The Novara Exposure Double bike shorts are sturdy enough to take what you dish out, and their stretchy mesh liner with built-in chamois provides comfort on the saddle. Rugged outer shorts are made from nylon to endure heavy use and resist abrasion, pilling and snagging; wicking finish disperses moisture for fast drying. Moisture-wicking polyester stretch-mesh liner shorts allow ample ventilation and the chamois pad conforms to body contours. Chamois features a top layer of breathable foam, a middle layer of springy air-mesh and a bottom layer of thin, resilient foam to enhance comfort in the saddle. Waistband secures with durable snap closure and zippered fly; partial elastic waistband at sides and back. The Novara Exposure Double bike shorts have 4 pockets: 2 hand pockets and 2 thigh pockets with concealed, on-seam zippers. With a UPF 50+ rating, fabric provides excellent protection against harmful ultraviolet rays.
