I would recommend this to almost any non racing skier. The camber is excellent i haven't put many days on them only 20 or so but the camber is still super springy. I don't know how the double groves on the base help but they don't make skiing more difficult. A few things that could be improved: These seem a little heavy and the tip shape was kind of annoying because it is higher profile than most skis in this price range. I would however recommend them over the atomic team skate.
