But what if you want to shift gears from there The Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 SW-7970 Satellite Rear Shifter is made from engineering grade plastic with two buttons. Zip tie it to the handlebar, run the wires, and go. Here, you can have your normal Di2 levers AND the extra setup for added shifting options.It can go over or under your bars. You can also set which button is the upshift and which is the downshift, provided you have Shimano's Di2 diagnostic tool, SM-EC79. As with the Di2 Dual Control levers, these have a fairly light touch, feeling a bit like mouse clicks. Each press of each button will result in shifting up or down one cog at a time. The Di2 Satellite Rear Shifter must be used with Shimano's Dura-Ace Di2 Dual Control road levers. They cannot operate on their own. Please Note: These are NOT compatible with Ultegra Di2.
