REI Description: Durable and versatile, the Shimano WH-R-501A clincher wheel set offers dependable performance for everyday riding. Aluminum rims feature a versatile 24mm deep and 20.8mm wide profile for great all-around performance; rim wear indicators allow safe detection of worn rim. Smooth-spinning hubs feature labrynth seals and angular contact bearings for lasting use; freehub body is 8-, 9- and 10-speed compatible. 20/24 aero-bladed stainless-steel spokes are laced radially on the front wheel, 2-cross on the rear wheel. Shimano WH-R-501A clincher wheel set comes with quick-release skewers and rim tape; 100mm front and 130mm rear axle spacing. Please note: these wheels are compatible with clincher tires and Presta tube valves only; recommended tire width of 19 - 28mm.
