The BC 1009 STS has all the essential functions including average speed, maximum speed, current/average speed comparison, and total trip time. 3-channel wireless transmission: speed, cadence, and heart rate are sent in digitally encoded data packages to the receiver integrated within the bike computer (Please note: heart rate monitors and cadence sensors are sold separately). Faster data synchronization: shorter transmission intervals guarantee faster screen updates, providing more accurate (near real time) ride data. Reduction of the transmission time and the power-saving rest mode enable a battery lifespan of at least one year. Auto start/stop. Auto conversion between MPH and KMH. Large display with easy to read icons. Bike functions: current, average, and maximum speeds, trip distance, current/average speed comparison, total distance (not shown while riding). Time functions: ride time, clock (12/24 hr.), total ride time (not shown while riding). Low battery indicator and integrated storage chip; you won?t lose your settings or total values during a battery change. Operates on a single 3V lithium battery (included). Weatherproof.
