very uncomforable on the toes

That says it all. The big toe and the next two were fine, but it was uncomfortable within minutes of putting them on; having your toes forced apart doesn't feel good on my foot muscles....and then uncomfortable into painful when the muscles on the outer edges of my feet started to cramp. Plus, I couldn't fit my feet into my shoes with these socks on. I usually wear Keen's, which aren't a narrow shoe by any stretch. I am size 6 to 6 1/2, but wear 6 1/2 to size 7 to be comfortable. Socks of choice are currently my slightly worn smartwool striped socks, or my Darn Tough Wool socks, they feel fine in those shoes. These toe socks didn't work for me-too thick between the toes. Yes, soft; I could be a 3 toe monster-foot; doubing up toes was okay;still wouldn't fit in my shoes.
