my favorite

I've had these for almost a year now, they endured an entire season guiding in Moab, then I took them to a concert and they got stepped on when I set them down. very stupid of me, yes I know. Aviators usually aren't very good at staying on your face but these are excellent. I especially like the additional coverage from the oversized lenses, no matter where you look you eyes are protected form the sun. I wish Smith would make them out of indestructible titanium, hint hint, because they are somewhat succeptible bending.

So nice!

These shades are really nice for all day, every day. The color of the lens (i have the gold/brown ones) is really good in the harsh sun of the Salt Lake Desert and the light frame can be worn all day. My only caution is to be very careful putting them in a bag or pack because the metal frame is pretty fragile and can bend into funny shapes which are not the same as head shaped. The loose fit is also not ideal for super active use, but riding around town, or driving, or beachin, they're great.

Pulls your look together

I LOVE these sunglasses!! I have a small face, so I normally have a disastrous time finding sunglasses that don't look ridiculous on me. And finding the perfect pair of aviators is even harder, b/c if you don't get the right pair, you look silly. The first pair I bought were the spy wilshire sunglasses - the lenses were too big for me. These are perfect for my small face - the lenses are the perfect size and shape, and the slight wrap makes them look updated from the 1980s, and even better at protecting your eyes. I bought the gold/polarized brown lens and they look SO HOT with a little sun dress, a couple pieces of small jewelry and flip flops - like you just threw something on in the morning, but totally put-together. And they are not girly in any way - I believe they are a unisex style. These are my second pair of smith sunglasses (I also highly recommend the shoreline!) and I think I may be a life-long customer. I only wish they came with a hard case.

Love

I bought these 3 months ago in the polarized gold/brown and have worn them almost every day. These are the best glasses I have ever owned. They block the sun, are comfortable and they look great too. The hinges seem like they could be a little fragile, but I haven't had any problems yet.
