I have an athletic build (meaning I have a butt, hips, and thighs) and my body fits best in either a straight leg pant or a boot cut pant. Every detail of these pants if fantastic and makes for an incredible fit for a woman who doesn't have a body shaped like a 12-year-old boy's. The pockets on the backside add shape to the rear end and though these pants are well-insulated, there's no extra bulk there. I'm a size 8/10 on the bottom and 5'6 and ordered the Large. They were a perfect fit and the purple color is very true to life in the web photos. I've already had two pairs of ski pants professionally tailored to fit my body and this pair was wear-ready.
