I have purchased alot of Stoic gear this year and they have yet to dissapoint. This jacket is very nice. Welded seems, athletic fit, very light and waterproof. I bought this for my brother as a gift, he is 6' 1 with long arms slim build. I got him the XL which is perfect length in the arms, and comes down just below his waist. An athletic fit, but enough room to layer underneath. Great waterproofing and breathability. We hit a snag when a branch ripped a big whole in the right shoulder. But with BC's excellent return policy we were taken care of and able to get a replacement jacket right away! Woohooo go BC!.

Love everything but the fit |
I really wanted to love this jacket, but at 5'7, 140 lb the medium fit was weird. I didn't try the large as the arm length was great, and the shoulder room was perfect, but the mid section to the waist simply tapered too much for my liking. Another reviewer described it as a European fit; I guess that means it is too slimming for a ski jacket. Hopefully they come out with a more layer friendly option for their next ski apparel line; less slimming and just a tad longer. Other than the fit, the features are flawless.
