Awww Ya gurl, Gimme da Watchez
I'll just Echo everyone elses. I bought this watch 2 years ago (for $148????) on BC.com and I use this watch every day, no matter if I'm working, casual, or climbing Mt. Rainier. it's flawless. I bought the cheaper Highgear Aerial Altimeter Watch off SAC for 38 bucks and boy was it worthless. I had to reset it about every hour to the correct altitude. No matter where I use this watch, it's NEVER out of 200ft up or down. And when I do big climbs I reset it just to make sure. The only thing I can honestly complain about it when you have it in log mode, if you ever hit that same button again, it will stop it, So SUUNTO suggests you switch to a different mode besides the altimeter when you are logging. Well whats the point in that? I would like to see what altitude I'm at or how fast I'm ascending when I'm touring or skiing. I usually strap it to my backpack to get an actual reading of temperature and then I can usually have it on the pack with the altimeter showing and log book running. Buy it, Buy it now. I would not regret. PS: The plastic face I read got scratched by some people, right after I bought mine I bought an invisible shield sold by ZAGG.com for it, And it's protected it flawlessly!
