Eastern Mountain Sports Description: This zippered pack from Swix contains basic hard waxes for cross-country skiing, a cork, and groove scraper. Contents:. V40 Blue Extra: the most popular V-wax; a very flexible and versatile wax covering a large temperature range on the cold side of freezing: 30-14;F (-1 to -10;C) for new fallen snow to transformed fine-grained snow. V45 Violet Special: a very frequently used wax, both in racing and touring: 32-21;F (0 to -6;C) for new fallen snow to transformed fine-grained snow. V60 Red/Silver: for wet new snow up to 38;F (+3;C) and down to 30;F (-1;C) in older more transformed granular snow. Synthetic cork. Groove scraper. Zippered pack for storage and easy-to-bring-along convenience. Each wax contains 1.6 oz. (45 g).

Backcountry Description: The Swix Tourpack packages three common waxesBlue Extra, Violet Special, and Redwith a cork and scraper in a convenient zippered pouch. Now it's that much easier to make sure you have the right kick wax and tools handy (iron not included). The V40 Blue Extra works for colder temps, and you can apply a layer of the V45 Violet Special when the blue becomes too slippery.
