Featuring an external pocket that accommodates a 60 m x 10.5 m climbing rope, this pack also includes a trekking pole or tool loop, and a stowable hipbelt with reinforced gear loops.
Backcountry Description: Designed with climbers in mind, The North Face Fulcrum 35 Backpack features a full-front, two-way zipper down the middle for easy access to your shoes, gear, and rope, which stows away in an elongated outer pouch. Tough Cordura and ballistic nylon fabrics hold up to bushwhack approaches and multi-pitch hauling, and the three-point haul loops doubles as handy tool attachments. A molded back panel keeps things comfortably supported, and the stowable hip belt features two gear loops for racking up your cams.

Nicely designed rock climbing pack. The front pocket doesn't look big enough for a rope that it is designed for, but my 10 mm has no problem fitting in there. Super burly pack material, and I really like the way this packs opens up - it is a top loader, but is opens toward you instead of away like traditional top loaders. Very comfortable suspension, and seems tough enough to handle be hauled up a pitch or two...
