I skied the Scott Mission's today at Sundance. It took only one turn before realizing how freaking awesome these skis were. They carve up the crud and pow like nobody's business. Then, on the groomers, they can carve tight turns, or big arcs with the smoothness of Face Man.

I love it when a plan comes together.

Hey JOSHG... I have skied the Head MoJo 90 and LOVED them overall. I mounted them about 2cm back from center and found that to be perfect. I'll see if I can get on a few others in the 90mm width area for comparison.

I don't believe the Scott Mission 183's have any metal in them... just wood and some sort of braided fiberglass for torsional rigidity.

Yeah, the Scott P4 is their big dog at 134/108/123 in a 181cm length.

Do you happen to know if these Scott skis have any metal in them? Titanium? Are there other Scott skis in the lineup with slightly wider waist widths?

I look forward to the actual review. The product info commercial only goes so far...are you going to ski some other ~90mm waist skis too? IE Head IM88, Mojo 90, Line Prophet 90, etc etc?
